- the logo of the Student Union (SU²) of Silesian University in Opava is based on a combination of the university’s visual identity and the sculpture *Heart of the Student Body* (by Christine Habermann von Hoch). The sculpture commemorates the events of November 17, 1939 and 1989 and the role of students in these historical moments. Its symbolism, however, is not limited to the past — its message also speaks to present and future generations of students in Opava and Karviná.
